Secret Path

I discover a hidden path in the backyard

the secret path


	after a year of occasionally running into a brick or 2 in the backyard, i decided to find out what was up. so with the help of a spade and a borrowed pressure washer i did some excavating and ended up unearthing an old brick path. it doesn't really go anywhere... just here and there, but it is quite quaint. my plan is to try and determine exactly where the path used to go and and connect its meanderings with some matching brick. i'll do a better job with taking some "in progress" photos next time. (9 horsepower pressure washers and digital cameras dont mix very well)

	with the "ruins" limestone from what used to be the old guesthouse, i built this path that leads to the new guesthouse. (i struggled with writing some corny "history builds a path to the future" quote but couldn't come up with anything) anyway, with time these blocks should settle down and inch or so and grow some moss between them... hmmm, perhaps a time lapse web cam would keep people informed.
