Super Bowl Peyton |
Counting all the "Peyton" utterances |
| The following FEPO results serve as a perfect example as to why you put ONE person in charge and give that person complete and total authority. Had we done this by committee, I can assure you that the wager would be forever living in dispute as, judging from the feedback I've received, there have been some serious discrepancies in what people received to be the count. | ||||

| Congratulations to those of you who won. Clearly, your decision to not just follow the herd on this particular wager makes you smarter than everyone else. |
| RVPR points have been adjusted accordingly, and while your "opinions" are welcomed in the comment area below, the auditor's "facts" are final and will not be changed. Thank you for participating. |

rvining - 2/7/2008 11:56:33 AMFINALLY, the have the results of the Super Bowl 'Peyton' wager back from the auditor. Let the debate begin. |
wmartin - 2/7/2008 1:48:16 PMThis should be a qualified letter. Now it is no wonder why Enron and Worldcom happened. The CPA is the ONLY person with less than 7. Depending on what your are trying to acheive as a business I either HIGHLY recommend (criminal intent) KPMG or ABSOLUTELY reject (legal accounting) KPMG. |
wmartin - 2/7/2008 1:49:07 PMI expect this level of auditing from Anderson. |
rvining - 2/7/2008 1:53:26 PMthe unscientific count we had at the party I was attending was 4 up until the last 34 seconds of the game where there was a flurry of Peyton's let loose. once the game was settled, we all agreed that there were 7 utterances... but what do i know, i'm not an accountant. |
rvining - 2/7/2008 1:58:51 PM...and what exactly does he mean by 'and performing such other procedures as I considered necessary in the circumstances'? if it means what I think it means, I think that we may have our answer as to why there seems to be some accounting irregularities. |
kgarrett - 2/7/2008 3:05:30 PMdorrill, I have no need for the count of utterances of the word Payton (as described in your letter). However, the wager was for the word Peyton (notice spelling). I demand a recount. How could you not know how approximately 75% of the 8-12 year old males in Tennessee spell their name? |
hankword - 2/7/2008 9:22:15 PMI wouldn't let Dorrill counts the letters in the alphabet. If he can't spell it right, it's obvious the Kocoucous education system didn't equip him properly to count it. We are all dumber for having read that. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul |
robthompson - 2/8/2008 4:34:39 PMThank you for the requisite Adam Sandler quote Hank. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the 4-6's have it. Winner take all baby. And on another note, regarding our CPAs use of the english language, perhaps the only more difficult than reading that letter is navigating this God awful web site. |
rvining - 2/8/2008 5:25:58 PMthe navigation matches my brain and the way it sorts things, so i think it's great. the problem is how you people use it. most just go to 'whats new' and navigate from there. that isn't the point and had led to a lot of you complainers not knowing where anything is. not my bad. instead, try using the top and side nav bars. they take you wherever you need to go. and if for some reason you get lost, look at the text links just under the top nav. they ALWAYS tell you exactly where you are. home > features > win, lose, draw... not hard. AND finally, what it may lack from time to time in function compared to those cookie cutter site templates it more than makes up for in quality content. my site rules! |
wmartin - 2/8/2008 10:47:54 PMI didnt even know there was a Nav bar at the top hidden above the banner and what looks like a page header. No one sees it up there but I have expressed this over and over and over and over and over. Any seconds or is everyone aware of it? |
