the mission
|
| the story |
| now as any of you who have pets will attest to, keeping a water bowl full can be quite a task. the constant bending over can be hard on ones back whether it is the heat of summer or the stiffness of winter. however, it is a task that cannot be ignored. if a water bowl is left unattended to, pets will devise other ways to refresh themselves that can be both annoying and potentially harmful. |

| Geddy refreshes herself from the pool... yes, that is the frog ramp next to her |
| armed with a very low tolerance for annoyance, i set out to solve my little problem by heading to the local hardware store. it is here that i find what is known in the plumbing world as a "2 way diverter". |

| the above picture is of the finished product. the hose remnant is attached to "option B" of the diverter and reaches all the way down to the lip of the dog bowl. now, when one wishes to add water to the bowl they no longer have to bend down to pick the bowl up and turn the water on... they just turn the "option B" switch instead. <for further explanation please see video> | ||||||||||||
