| On Friday, January 23rd 2004, my 3 legged F-135 (it's slowly losing F-150 status) reached a milestone... 100,000 miles. While the last 30,000 have not been easy (see "summer with no A/C") the $35,000 plus price tag of the new F-150's have kept me motivated. Besides, together my F-132 and i have been from Seattle, WA to Naples, FL. So, to celebrate we decided to get new* shoes from the F-Stone at Perkins and Am-Way. | ||||
| *new: "new" means "new to me". the tires i got are goodyear AT's and had 10,000 miles on them. the mounted/balanced cost was $250 - not a bad deal considering that new tires are well over $100 each. i anticipate getting another 40,000 out of them. | ||||
